Figurative numbers contribution in perceiving the legality in numerous strings tasks and log-term memory of numerous data

Mihajlov Carević, Miroslava • Petrović, Milena • Denić, Nebojša

Contemporary mathematics teaching is mostly reduced to the application of algebraic formulas and algebraic procedures. The visual-logical approach in solving mathematical tasks is very little represented in teaching mathematics. Such practice should be changed since visualization is of great importance in the process of learning and understanding mathematics as well as in solving mathematical tasks. This paper suggests the possibility of developing students’ ability to perceive lawfulness a ...

Biodegradable polyurethanes can be the basis for drug delivery systems that are sensitive to external changes. pH-sensitive polyurethanes (PUs) have been used successfully as intravaginal rings and specific drug delivery systems for the colon. In this study, a series of pH-sensitive polyurethane hydrogels with a change of the polyol component (poly(ethylene glycol) 400/poly(propylene glycol) 2000/poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) 1100), sacchari ...

The role of applied geography has been increasing in interdisciplinary research due to the advantage of knowing spatial processes and relations. This role has reflected in the geo-ecological evaluations of a particular geographical area used for different social purposes. This paper represents the GIS analysis of the natural environment of a part of the Drina River flow in wider terms so to apply in recreational tourism. The quantitative V-Wert diversification method has used for the study with ...

Some new identities for the second covariant derivative of the curvature tensor

Maksimović, Miroslav • Stanković, Mića

In this paper, we have studied the second covariant derivative of Riemannian curvature tensor. Some new identities for the second covariant derivative have been given. Namely, identities obtained by cyclic sum with respect to three indices have been given. In the rst case, two curvature tensor indices and one covariant derivative index participate in the cyclic sum, while in the second case one curvature tensor index and two covariant derivative indices participate in the cyclic sum.

In the paper, the aridity is defined on the basis of four climate indices: De Martonne's index of aridity, Lang’s Rain Factor and Gračanin’s Rain factor for the vegetation period and hydrothermal coefficient of Seljaninov. While the annual value of the drought index (IDM) shows humid characteristics, the monthly values show the variability of the conditions. The summer months (July and August) are classified as semi-arid months, while the winter months (December- February) are extremely humid. T ...
